Frequently asked questions

Pricing

How much does window cleaning cost?

Exterior windows are $9 each, with a $130 minimum visit. A typical single-story home with about 20 windows is $180 for a one-time clean. Screens and tracks, interior glass and hard-water spot removal are add-ons. The quote page shows your exact price instantly.

How much does solar panel cleaning cost?

$6 per panel, with a $110 minimum visit, for panels on single-story roofs cleaned from the ground. Add windows in the same visit and the whole visit is 10% off.

What do the plans save me?

Every 3 months saves 15% per visit, every 4 months saves 12%, and twice a year saves 8%, compared with the one-time price of the same visit. You can pause or cancel any time. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.

Is there a neighbor discount?

If a door hanger or a neighbor sent you, enter the code on the street page and take $20 off your first visit. If you refer a neighbor, your next visit is free (up to $175 in value) once they complete their first.

Do you charge for hard-water spots?

Light spotting comes off in a normal clean. Heavy mineral deposits, the white crust left by sprinklers, need extra work. We quote that from a photo before we start, typically from about $6 per window on top. We never add it without asking.

Windows

Do you clean second-story windows?

Yes, from the ground. We use a water-fed pole that reaches upper-floor glass without a ladder, so it is safe on slopes and around landscaping and HOA-friendly. Two-story homes are priced a little higher because the pole work takes longer.

Do you clean the inside?

Interior glass is an add-on. Tick it in the quote and it is included in your price.

What about screens and tracks?

Add "screens and tracks" and we remove and wash the screens and clean the window tracks, which is where most of the dirt that blows in ends up.

Solar

Why pure water for solar panels?

Pure water has had the minerals removed, so it dries without leaving spots or a film, and it does not need soap. Soaps can leave residue that attracts dust, and many panel makers recommend plain water and a soft brush in their care instructions. Check your own panel manual, since requirements differ.

Do you go on the roof?

Never. We clean panels from the ground with a water-fed pole, and only on single-story roofs. If your panels are on a two-story roof, we will tell you honestly that we cannot do them, and we will not send anyone up.

How often should panels be cleaned?

In dry, dusty Inland Empire air, many homeowners clean panels two to four times a year. Rain helps but does not clear everything, and the first light rain after a long dry spell can leave a muddy film. A plan puts it on autopilot.

Will cleaning make a big difference?

It depends on how dirty the panels are. Studies of soiling in California and the Southwest show measurable losses that grow during dry spells, but your result will vary. We do not promise a percentage.

Plans

How do the plans work?

You pick every 3 months, every 4 months or twice a year. We confirm your first visit by text and then pencil in your next one. We text you before each visit. You can skip, pause or cancel by text.

Do I pay by card?

We will text you to confirm and take payment after each visit. Saving a card on file for automatic billing is being turned on soon.

Do I have to be home?

For exterior windows and panels, usually not, as long as we can reach the glass and a faucet or we bring our own water. For interior cleaning, we need access.

Holiday lights

How much do holiday lights cost?

Lights, clips, install and your chosen extras are one price, about $4 per foot of roofline with a $450 minimum. A typical single-story home with about 150 feet is $600. Every quote stays under $950 with the lights included; bigger jobs are a custom quote.

When do you install and take down?

Installs run mid-November to mid-December. Takedown happens in January, and we can store your lights until next season. Dates are limited, so book early.

Do you go on the roof for lights?

Never. This is a safety policy: single-story rooflines only, with gutter-line clips and a ladder from the ground. No roof walking, no ridges or peaks, and no two-story rooflines.

Why is there a price limit online?

Each job, lights included, has to stay under a set dollar amount. If your roofline is bigger, the quote tool shows "custom quote" and we text you instead of booking it automatically.

TV mounting

How much does TV mounting cost?

Flat prices by TV size: Up to 43" $99, 44" to 54" $119, 55" to 69" $139, 70" and larger $169, for drywall walls. Bring your own mount or buy one from us. Brick, stone and tile walls are a custom quote.

Can you hide the cables?

We can run them in a paintable surface raceway on the wall, or use a plug-in in-wall power-bridge kit. We do not do electrical work: no moving outlets and no new in-wall power wiring, which needs a licensed electrician.

Do you work inside my home?

Yes. For TV mounting we come inside, so we keep it simple: an owner you can text, a flat price up front, and shoe covers on.

Service

Where do you work?

Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma, Etiwanda, Upland, Claremont, Ontario, Fontana, Chino Hills, Montclair and La Verne for windows and TV mounting. Holiday lighting is offered in all of them except Claremont. Not on the list? Ask.

What if it rains after you clean?

Rain may leave light spots, but it will not undo a clean. If a visit lands on a rainy day, we reschedule at no charge.

Who does the work?

A local, owner-operated business. You get the owner on the text line, not a call center.
